This past weekend, we packed up and went to Chicago Saturday night. My older sisters baby shower was on Sunday, so it was a perfect excuse to get out of own for a night and create some new adventures. Saturday afternoon we went to The Rainforest Cafe. I had been there many times as young kiddo, but this was Lincoln’s first time. He, of course, LOVED it. It was so much fun to see his eyes light up as he explored all the different animals. However, I think his favorite part was the dinosaur balloon animal he got. We still have that thing in our house (although it isn’t looking so much like a dinosaur anymore).
Alright, let’s talk about this outfit. For starters, this is my every day type of outfit. This is what you will see me wearing on most days. A simple sweatshirt or t-shirt with jeans and easy shoes that I can still chase a toddler while wearing. I want to zero in on these jeans though. To be honest, I have never really thought of Old Navy as the place to buy jeans. I had seen the commercials and every so often heard people talk about their love for Old Navy jeans, but I never went for it. Even going to the store, I would never even look at them or try them on. I would literally just walk right by the jean section without a second thought. However, for whatever reason, the last time we were there I decided to check it out. I saw these in the light gray and since I had been wanting some in that color I decided just try them on. Well, my next thought was “why haven’t I tried these sooner?” At that price point, they cannot be beat. They fit so well (true to size) and are so comfy that I couldn’t turn them down. I have now been watching the sales at Old Navy to buy more. Lesson learned, always try them on.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as I did. See you next time!
Love, Chelsea Lynn
